Speaking Requests
Keynotes, Presentations, Webinars, Podcasts, & Radio

I love school.
As a lifelong educator, I’ve spent my days in conversation with people of all ages and stages on topics that spark engagement and curiosity, framed by stories, because I believe stories illuminate truth.
Through storytelling, we come to better understand our own experiences and those of others.
As a narrative inquiry researcher, I listen and collect the stories of individuals who have experienced the same phenomenon - whether that be engaging in creative work, disrupting the status quo, or being subjected to workplace abuse. Each person’s story is unique, yet when examined collectively, common themes bubble up across people’s narratives, providing insight into their shared experiences.
Today, I get to share my research and the research of others through tailor-made talks for diverse audiences and industries, from law firms and human resource professionals to businesses and educational thought leaders - both within the United States and internationally.
Keynotes are delivered in person—ranging from lectures and workshops to panel discussions in venues of any size—or virtually via the web.
I am also a frequent guest on podcasts and join live radio shows from SiriusXM to international stations.
Sometimes, I even get the opportunity to speak to auditoriums full of kids (elementary through high school) on subjects that intertwine with their daily lives, like becoming upstanders against school bullying, fostering kindness in their community, navigating challenges, and tapping into creativity to bring their unique ideas and talents to center stage.
I like to keep things simple, so please reach out to me directly via email if you would like to discuss possibilities. As a tenured professor, my days, as I imagine yours, get pretty hectic, but I try to respond to all requests within a week’s time.
